Formed in 1945 by Peit Sarabier as an electrical engineering consultantancy; from 1947 worked with Helmut Finke of Voigtlander to develop Finetta camera, launched 1949; some cameras carry name 'Sarbar / Goslar' on body but are marked 'Finetta-Werke' inside; collaborated with Bolsey in 1954 to produce a subminiature camera; in 1956 the company became insolven, closing in 1957.
