Andreas Zachariah won the BSI’s Sustainability Design Awards 2007, for the 'Carbon Hero™' personal carbon calculator, which he co-designed and marketed with Nick Burch. The 'Carbon Hero™' was the Regional prize winner in the 2007 European Satellite Navigation Competition.
