Attended Manchester University 1973-1976; animator, director and writer of puppet animation and also a designer and director of stage plays; has worked for British animation companies (Cosgrove Hall, Aardman Animation) and also on a number of film projects, including 'Mars Attacks!' and 'King Kong', as well as writting, directing and producing his own award-winning animated television films for Channel 4.
