Inventor of the Wright Peak flow meter, whilst working at University Hospital, Llandough in South Wales. This was whilst working with a team - including: Charles Fletcher, Archie Cochrane and Heinz Wolff - who were researching pneumoconiosis. c.1960s - developed the 'alcolmeter', a breathalyser developed with Lion Laboratories. Developed the apnoea alarm, the MR10, which is used by Paediatricians to monitor babies at risk of cot death risk.
