Incorporated in 1899 for 8.75 mile line from Queenborough to Leysdown to the East of Sheppey. Opened August 1st 1901. Always worked by South Eastern and Chatham Railway. In 1905 purchased by the London Chatham and dover railway. The last train ran on the line on 2nd December 1950.
