Inaugurated on 24th July 1912 when the British Automobile Traction Company Limited bought the pioneering Aldershot & Farnborough Motor Omnibus Company Ltd. Was nationalised to the government's Transport Holding Company on 14th March 1968. Put into effect in 1969 after the Transport Act of 1968. The company continued to trade as Aldershot and District until it was merged with Thames Valley Traction Company Limited on 1st January 1972 to form the Thames Valley and Aldershot Omnibus Company, which traded under the t name of Alder Valley.
