1933 - came to Britain and studied at the Reimann School.

1939-1942 - career in design was interrupted, during WW2, by his internment as an enemy alien.

1942 - Despite these difficulties, Rothholz returned to Britain and established himself a poster designer and commercial artist. Produced work for RoSPA, Post Office, J Lyons & Co, Festival of Britain, London Transport etc. Devised cororate identities for Winsor & Newton and Wellcome
