Electric Manufacturing Co. founded 1890 by brothers Charles and Alexander Meston along with the principal investor, John Wesley Emerson, manufacturing electric motors for fans, power tools, sewing machines and dental drills; during second world war became worlds largest aircraft armaments manufacturer.
