1884 formed as Royce Limited

1891 Registered on 4 June, as F. H. Royce and Co, to take over the business of electrical and mechanical engineers of the firm of the same name.

1894 Became a limited company

1904 - Company manufactures their first car.

1906 - Henry Royce and Charles Rolls form Rolls Royce Limited to manufacture cars.

1932 Acquired by Herbert Morris of Loughborough
