1974 - Founded by Mario Bessana, the company was called 'Martoys', manufacturing scale model die-cast metal cars. 1974-1976 - company name changed to 'Bburago'. 2005 - Receivers called in and company purchased by 'Maisto', USA. 2007 - Company re-commences manufacturing and trading as 'Bburago'.
