An off-shoot of the Brooks-Watson Daylight Camera Company Ltd., Rajar Ltd. were founded in 1901 iin Liverpool; relocated to new factory at Mobberley, Cheshire in 1903; became a Limited Company in 1907; joined the AMP group of camera manufacturers in 1923; amalgamated with Ilford in 1928, Ilford taking over the Mobberley factory as their headquarters.
