South Yorkshire Transport was a bus operator covering the county of South Yorkshire between 1986-1998, with its headquarters based in Doncaster. Its operations began to be branded as 'Mainline' from 1989, before being used across the whole company from 1992. Mainline was sold to "FirstBus" in 1998.
