Rudolph Stirn
Camera manufacturer active Berlin late nineteenth century. After Rudolph's brother C P Stirn bought the rights to the waistcoat 'detective' camera in 1886 Rudolph Stirn manufactured the camera and marketed it in Germany, Sweden and Britain, with the cameras marketed in the United States and Canada by Stirn & Lyon. In 1889 Rudolph Stirn also manufactured a 360 degree Panoramic Camera called the 'Wonder Panoramic Camera', designed by American J R Connon and patented in America by Carl Stirn of New York.
