A few of his exhibited watercolour drawings are of landscape subjects including two views of Windsor (exh. Old Watercolour Society, 1836), and another of Eton (exh. RA, 1836). His views of Luxembourg and Heidelberg, indicate locations of his sketching trips abroad, one of which was with the landscape painter and lithographer J. D. Harding
