Established in 1864 as furniture makers who also made carved wooden printing blocks for posters. In the 1960s Willsons Printers Leicester remained poster printers whilst Willsons Printers Nottingham moved into the commercial market and became a separate company - Willsons Printers (Nottingham) Ltd, buying other print companies, mostly integrating them into Willsons Printers (Newark) and Willsons Printers (Grimsby).
