Established in 1840 by William Morris in Seven Dials, London. The company subsequently moved to Shaftesbury Avenue. In 1917 they became incorporated. In 1992 they acquired Bermans. The company was split into professional hire in Camden and later Hendon, and fancy dress stores. The company remains family owned.
