Black and white travel and documentary photographer, born Cheshire 1902; trained as radio engineer; moved to Canada in 1927 to work for Northern Electric Company, helping to run their radio station; then travelled installing theatre equipment, and began taking photographs to illustrate his travels; established J Allan Cash Library.
