1858 - on the death of his brother Thomas, Edward Humphries renamed E & T Humphries Agricultural Engineers. 1862 - completed the construction of Pershore Hall. 1883 - the production plant moved to the ‘New’ Atlas Works situated at Pinvin, Pershore. 1903 - due to financial problems associated with cheaper overseas imports, the company went into liquidation.
