1840 - Abraham Leblond and Robert Leblond established the engraving and printing firm in Walbrook, London. 1849 - first company to take a licence from George Baxter to use the Baxter Process of printing. 1868 - purchased 66 sets of George Baxter's original plates and blocks and republished them as Le Blond-Baxters. 1893 - in financial difficulties, Le Blond sold all his plates and blocks together with his stock of prints. 1894 - official receiver appointed and the business was sold to Barclay and Fry.
