The Kudelski Group was founded in 1951 in Switzerland by Stefan Kudelski. The company is mainly a manufacturer of digital security and media systems, but also offers professional recording equipment and hi-fi products. The company first saw success with its Nagra tape recorder released in 1951 and continues to use this as a brand name.
