South Eastern

occupation:
Rail operating company

South Eastern was a ‘shadow franchise’, a train operating company owned wholly by the British Railways Board, which was intended to be replaced by private franchisees. It took over part of Network SouthEast in 1994, and the franchise passed to Connex South Eastern in 1996.
