Eagle Engineering Co Ltd was founded in 1907 as a successor to William Glover and Sons at Eagle Works, Saltisford, Warwick. The company specialised in customised truck bodies, trailers and anitation vehicles, but also manufactured petrol engines and radios. Radios were manufactured from 1926 until 1956 by the subsidiary, Eagle Wireless Supply Co Ltd under the Chakophone brand name. Eagle Engineering was acquired by Hestair Group in 1972 and merged with the vehicle manufacturers, Dennis Brothers Ltd.
