Edwin Hayes 1819 - 1904
1830s - moved with his family to Dublin where he studied at the Kildare School of Art. 1842 - exhibited A Marine View and A Brisk Gale, at the Royal Hibernian Academy. 1852 - moved to London. 1853 - elected an associate of the Royal Hibernian Academy. 1854 - first London exhibit at the British Institution. 1855 - first contributed to the Royal Academy exhibition. 1860 - became an associate of the New Watercolour Society. 1863 - became a member of the New Watercolour Society. 1871 - elected a member of the Royal Hibernian Academy.
