The company begins manufacturing in Vienna with tungsten radio tubes in the mid-'20s. These were initually only in very small series. The T4 was the first of these tubes. Later followed replicas - for example the PT43 (B2043). The tubes which were recognisable as the Ostar, Austria or Ostar All brand, were rare uranium or OXYTRON.
