1977 - Gordon Wood and John Coxon found the company, in order to design and manufacture self-pitching propellers. John Coxon at Woodcoxon Engineering Limited, converts the old Petworth bus garage into a propellor foundry. He also floods at least one of the vehicle inspection pits to make it into a water-tunnel for testing the propellors.
