Irish-born pioneering naturalist, wildlife photographer, painter and printmaker. His intrest in animals stemmed originally from hunting, before he turned to art and photography. Dugmore travelled to Kenya on a photographic safari in 1909 to 1910, and twice made trips to Newfoundland, in 1907 and 1913.
