Constable and Co.

Origins in 1795 when Archibald Constable, a bookshop owner, started publishing books in addition to selling them. Became Constable and Co. in 1890, when it was the management was passed to Archibald Constable II, the grandson of the original founder. In 1999, it merged with Robinson publishing to become Constable and Robinson Ltd
