Henry Lee Hadwen born Scoforth, Lancashire, 14 May 1882; Indian civil servant, expert on Western Himalayas and Tibetan languages; noted photographer of that area; after retirement lectured in Tibetan at the London School of Oriental Studies. Died 1959-1960, aged 77, Delhi, India.
