Incorporated as the American Mutoscope Company in December 1895, founded by WKL Dickson, Herman Casler, Henry Marvin and Elias Koopman. Became the AMBC in 1899. Created the subsidiary company, British Mutoscope Company. Changed its name to the Biograph Company in 1909.
