Born in Niterói in 1983, Alonso lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. He has a degree in Painting and is a PhD student in Visual Languages ​​at the School of Fine Arts at UFRJ. In his works, he investigates the possibilities of articulation between day-to-day experience and painting. Alonso focuses on performance fields for color, form and gesture. He was commissioned by the Science Museum in 2018 to produce marketing for the exhibition 'The Sun: Living with our Star'.
