Born in Bimingham in 1958, Talor served in the RAF, and practiced as a barrister before turning to photography. He has forged a career focused particularly on photographing underrepresented groups, and on commissions from scientific and academic institutions. His work is represented in the V&A and National Portrait Gallery.
