1920 - invented the etherophone - an electronic musical instrument - which is played without being touched. The etherophone was later called the Theremin.
1922 - Theremin was invited to the Kremlin to demostrate his instrument to Lenin.
1927 - Theremin demostrated his instrument to Albert Einstein.
1929 - Theremin signs a contract with The Radio Corporation of America (RCA) for them to produce the instrument
