Self Portrait Etching by Paul Drury, 1924 (Unique - sole impression). Etching depicting self portrait of artist Paul Drury. The image shows the head and shoulders of the artist, he faces towards the right hand side of the viewer, but his gaze is directly towards the viewer. His head is slightly lowered, the right side of his face is illuminated whilst the left is heavily shaded. The subject is wearing a shirt, tie, waistcoat and jacket. The tip of his hand and etching tool or pen is seen at the bottom of the etching. Pencil notes state '2nd State No. 3'.

Drawing of patient waiting in a wheelchair, by Paul Drury. Two-thirds length portrait drawing of a man sat in a wheelchair. He is positioned sideways in the chair, his left arm resting on the back of the chair and his right arm resting on his right leg. The right leg is bent over the wheel and amputated on the calf, his left leg seen under the wheelchair's arm, is amputated at the knee. His head is looking towards the right-hand side. He wears an open collar shirt with a V-neck jumper.

The patient is placed to the left of the painting, seated facing right, his face turned towards the viewer. He is bending his right arm, the cast is visible on his wrist and hand, but his jacket sleeve covers the rest. His left arm is resting on his lap. The background features a loose sketch of a surface with bowls and jars. Drawing features two signatures and dates, one stating 'Paul Drury, Roehampton, 1942' and the second '1944 P.D.' The drawing is squared off with the composition loosely continued below and to the right.
