Charles Richard Browne Goldson, known as Richard Goldson, was Project Director Re-Structuring for the British Railway Board between 1987 to 1996. It is thought that in 1996 he moved to National Express as Rail Development Director until 2006. He worked as a Board member of the Office of Rail Regulation from 2006 and 2011, after which he became an Adviser to the House of Commons Transport Committee until 2014. He was appointed OBE for services to railway industry in 1995.
