Graham Douglas N. Miller 1947
Graham Douglas N. Miller OBE, known as Graham Miller, was born in 1947 and joined British Rail as a Management Trainee in Dundee. He then worked as an Area Operations Assistant and Area Manager at Bellshill. Between 1976 and from 1978 he served a Personal Assistant to Peter Parker, Chairman of the British Railways Board, he left British Rail in 1978. It is though that he then worked as a consultant alongside working in the family business and then worked as the Logistics Director for Scottish & Newcastle Breweries. In 1995 he became President of the Freight Transport Association.
