Professor Stephen Glaister was born in 1946. He served as a Non-Executive Board Member for London Regional Transport from 1984 from 1991. In 1993 he became an Advisor to John Swift, the Rail Regulator Designate and from 1994 to 2001 was a Member of Advisory Panel of the Office of the Rail Regulator. He served as a Non-Executive Board Member for Transport for London between 2000 and 2008. Since 2015 he has been a Non-Executive Board Member for the Office for Rail and Road and served as the Office for Rail and Road’s Chair from 2016 to 2018.
