Danielle Baskin 1988
Baskin (born 1988) is an artist and inventor living and working in San Francisco. She founded a number of companies based on innovative design and technology that blends product design with immersive theater. In 2020, she created the product Maskalike, bringing uncanny facial expressions to masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also created Dialup, a globally acclaimed service that connects thousands of people in surprise phone calls. Her work is centered around engineered serendipity, culture jamming, jokes, and play.
