Dick Keegan was born in 1940 and began his railway career as a british Rail Civil Engineer from 1960 to 1970. he then moved on to be project Manager of Merseyrail between 1970-1980 after which he moved to Transmark in Sydney, Austrailia for 8 years until 1988. He worked as project manager for the Kings Cross Development between 1989 and 1992. From 1992 to 1994 he worked as Director of british rail Management Buy Out projects.
