Francis Owen Garbett Williams 1942 - 2021

Sir Frank Williams was a racing driver and the founder of the Williams Formula One team. Originally Frank Williams Racing Cars began in 1966, but was sold in 1976. In 1977. he founded Williams Grand Prix Engineering Ltd, which went on to become Williams Racing. Frank Williams retained the position of Team Principal until the sale of the team in 2020, although in reality his daughter Claire Williams took on that role from 2012, under the title of Deputy Team Principal.
