West Somerset Railway 1857

The West Somerset Railway Company was incorporated on 17 August 1857. Line was mentioned in the Beechings report but existed until 1971. In 1976 was meant to be a commercial line but BR bus drivers who were on the route complained and it became a steam railway instead.
