Thomas Henry Court 1868 - 1951
Thomas Henry Court (1868-1951) amassed a significant number of instruments over the years prior to WW2, and presented many of them to the Science Museum. Some had been in Frank Crisp’s collection, some not, but Court gave over 300 items to the microscopy collections [and as many as 400 other scientific instruments to other collections there]: this has been decisive in establishing the international importance of the collection today.
