Established in 1825 in Birmingham by George Unite. Based at 42 Caroline Street. Became George Unite & Sons in 1865. In 1928, they merged with William Henry Lyde to form the new company of George Unite Sons & Lyde Ltd. Some of their pieces have Sheffield and Chester hallmarks.
