Merryweather and Sons Limited 1690

Founded c1690 by Nathaniel Hadley on Cross Street London to manufacture fire engines apparatus. For a time the company was called "Hadley - Simpkin". In 1791 Henry Lott joined the firm and it became "Hadley, Simpkin and Lott". After Lott retired it was handed to his nephew by marriage and became Merryweather and Sons. In 1996 the company became Siebeco Three Ltd. based in London, and listed as a non-trading company.
