The Oban Times is a local newspaper, based in Oban, Argyll and Bute and covering the West Highlands of Scotland. Reporting area from the Mull of Kintyre to Lochalsh, to the Inner and Outer Hebridean Islands with Argyll, Lorne and Lochaber. Part of the Oban Times Group, which publishes The Argyllshire Advertiser (est. 1886), The Arran Banner (est. 1975), The Campbeltown Courier (est. 1873) s well as magazines Scottish Field, Fish Farmer Magazine andFish Update.
