Sir James Dewar 1842 - 1923

Educated at the University of Cambridge, later a professor at the university & the Royal Institution, London. Interests included molecular & atomic spectroscopy, early work included the description of the formulae of bezene. Best known for his process to liquify oxygen and the flask, bearing his name, to contain it.
