Mary of Teck was the Queen Consort to King George V of the United Kingdom and British Dominions. She was born in Kensington Palace in 1867 and married George V in 1893. She was the Queen Consort from 1910-1936 when George V died. She lived to see two of her sons and her granddaughter ascend to the throne before dying in 1953, 10 weeks before Elizabeth II was crowned.
