Brothers Henry, Frank and Edward Atkin joined in 1853 to create the Atkin Brothers silversmiths business. Based in Sheffield they produced flatware, holloware and cutlery. C J Vander of London and the Adie Brothers of Birmingham bought the company in 1958.
