International Computers Ltd (ICL founded 1968 as part of the British Government's Industrial Act; formed by merging International Computers and Tabulators (ICT) with English Electric Computers; produced large mainframe computers and software operating systems; Fujitsu acquired 90% of ICL in 1990, with personal computers and servers continuing to be marketed under the ICL brand; this ended in 1999 with the formation of Fujitsu Seimens Computers.
