1947-1949 - Sam Worden founds Worden Gravity Meter manufacturing, also known as Houston Technical Laboratories. 1953 - Sam Worden sells the Company to Texas Instruments Incorporated. c.1985 - Texas Instruments Incorporated sells the geophysical production facilities to Halliburton. 1990 - This company then sells to Robert Neese, who establishes the Worden Gravity Meter Company.
