Martin Richardson
Martin Richardson is a pioneer of digital and 3D imaging. After gaining the first PhD in holography in 1988 from the Royal College of Art, he went on to lead the De Montfort Holographic Research Centre, and has developed a number of new holographic techniques, including producing the world's first true-colour holograms. As well as creating holographic images of and for a number of musicians, film makers, and other artists, he worked with David Bowie to create the lenticular hologram included with his 1999 album 'Hours'.
